These portfolios seek to maximise returns for a given risk budget through the selection of best of breed actively managed funds from across the whole market.*

The Advisory Managed Portfolios follow long-standing investment principles of diversification, at asset class, geographical and investment/fund manager levels.

Using our robust process we regularly review and update the portfolios to try to ensure we are investing in the best managers in each asset class and/or sector and will actively replace funds that we no longer consider suitable.

Five portfolios are offered to suit clients with different risk appetites. Typically, less risk means leads a portfolio to have more exposure to bonds and less exposure to equities and more risk means increasing exposure to equities, and in higher-risk portfolios, more exposure to higher growth markets such as Asia and Emerging Markets.

*Portfolios may also include Passive funds where it is felt appropriate to do so for cost, performance, risk, or diversification purposes.

• Funds that are selected on a fiercely independent best-of-breed basis: Hammond Raggett is not tied to any fund manager, bank or insurance company.

NOTE: Our Advisory Managed Portfolios are currently available to existing investors via a limited number of platforms and will eventually be closed across all platforms. Investors wishing to invest in a managed solution may do so via the Discretionary Portfolios available through the A J Bell platform.
